Yoga: we will empower your understanding of the tradition and the attainment of a state of perfect spiritual insight and tranquility while meditating the Hindu concept of divinity or Brahman.

Meditation: Prayer beads or other ritual objects may be used during meditation. Our meditation may involve invoking or cultivating a feeling or internal state, such as compassion, or attending to a specific focal point. Our meditation kahuna will help you expand your understanding of Hawaiian spiritual practices.

Massage: a choice of traditional Hawaiian Lomi lomi massage, hot stone massage, and energy/body work from well known Hawaiian healer passed from ancient times through a

This was my first trip out with KOA for a dolphin swim and it was awesome! The boat is roomy and extremely comfortable and got us to our dolphin site in record time without the intense bumping of the smaller rubber inflatable boats I usually go out on.
We saw mantas, whales and swam with the wild dolphins and there were hundreds!! I wasn't rushed once I was in the water and the safety briefing was professional and brief! It was a fabulous day with Capt Danny and Laure, who exceeded my expectations as hosts with genuine Aloha and Hawaiian hospitality, yummy snacks, and an on board bathroom and fresh water shower to rinse off in between dives! Thank You Kona Ocean Adventures for my magical dolphin swim!!!

The Kona Coast of Hawaii has over 80 established sites for divers to choose from. sites such as Suck'em Up, The dome, Henry's Cave (lava tubes), Kaiwi, Eel cove, Pipe dreams, Turtle pinnacle just to name a few are home to cowry sheels, nudibranchs, white tip reef sharks, cool critters, and many more species. Turtles often hang out at cleaning station to have algae and parasites removed from their shells.

Our professional divemasters are famous for finding Octopus, Scorpion fish, frog fish, leaf fish, nudibranchs and many more sea creatures.

We've been certified for about 30 years and have seen the full range of dive operations. Danny Scott came highly recommended and I must say he more than lived up to his reputation. He and laure were a great team and we had a wonderful time! The boat was excellent, Laure was professional and personable. The chow was perfect for the surface interval. Danny and Laure at Kona Ocean Adventures certainly have the expertise and experience to make an amazing day extraordinary!! We were greeted with Hawaiian hospitality ,ocean briefed professionally, and cared for with a innate sense of customer service. I've been a Captain and divemaster for a lot of years. The night Manta dive is a "must do" to any diver. There are a number of companies offering this dive. I choose Kona Ocean Adventures because of the small number of passengers, 6 max., and the reputation of the owners/crew. It was a great decision!! Danny and Laure are the bomb. Experienced, knowledgeable and gracious. While other boats nearby had up to 20 people, we, with 6, were more like a private charter than a commercial venture. We had plenty of room and very personalized service. Great briefing and explanations of what to expect. A great experience. I highly recommend Kona Ocean adventures.

Danny and Laure are simply awesome! My husband and I did 4 diving days with Kona Ocean Adventures and all were fantastic. Captain Danny's knowledge of the area, currents and conditions was exceptional. Our Dive master Laure was also particularly good, both highly professional and hugely passionate about diving. VIP/ private boat charter is absolutely worth the extra money. The boat was clean and not overcrowded, the lunch served was sumptuous and served with freshly cut local fruits, crew was knowledgeable and friendly and the snorkeling was excellent. A great day! Diane, Kurk and Rick B.

The Manta Rays in Hawaii fins have evolved into wide triangular wings with which they use to “fly” through the water. Varying in size anywhere from 4-20 ft, makes them amongst the largest sea creatures anywhere in the world. The Hawaiian Manta Rays are  fascinating and stunningly beautiful sea sights. Believed to have a lifespan of up to 25 years, this greatest of the ray family have been documented swimming at depths of up to 100 feet

These gentle giants will absolutely take your breath away.  Unlike most of their relatives, Manta Rays have NO teeth, stinger or barbs and are completely safe to be around. You may be wondering why we go snorkeling with the Mantas at night? Scientifically, we believe they may feed most actively at night, when many planktonic creatures naturally rise to the surface, providing a rich bounty on which Mantas may feed.
Using dive lights, we are able to attract concentrations of these plankton and therefore attract the Mantas.  It is exhilarating to be in the Ocean at night with the Mantas.
176 Manta Rays have been identified and named along the Kona Coast.

"Zach-a-ray" (seen below)  is named for Zach Scott, son of Captain Danny Scott. he is approx. 6 ft across.
